Roy Fan Payment Match Program – Terms & Conditions

These Roy Fan Payment Match Programs Terms of Service (“Match Terms”) govern your participation in any fan payment match program offered by Roy (“Program”). These Match Terms form a part of Roy’s Terms of Service (“Roy Terms”), which are incorporated herein by reference. Unless otherwise defined in these Match Terms, all capitalized terms shall have the meanings set forth in Roy’s Fan Terms of Service.

By participating in the Program, you agree to these Match Terms.

1. Overview

Roy is offering a limited-time promotion in which Roy will match qualifying payments made on the Roy platform towards certain athletes, subject to the terms outlined below.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Participating Schools & Athletes
The Program is only valid for payments associated with Roster Campaigns for the following Selected Athletes:

  • Auburn Tigers – All athletes listed on the Roy platform.
  • Duke Blue Devils – All athletes listed on the Roy platform.
  • Iowa Hawkeyes – Limited to female athletes listed on the Roy platform.
  • Kent State Golden Flashes – All athletes listed on the Roy platform.
  • Kentucky Wildcats – All athletes listed on the Roy platform.
  • Tennessee Volunteers – All athletes listed on the Roy platform.

Additional schools and athletes may be added at Roy’s discretion. Updates will be reflected in these Terms.

2.2 Eligible Payments

  • Only payments made towards Roster Campaigns qualify for Matching Funds.
  • The maximum matching amount is $100 per fan (cumulative across all qualifying payments).
  • The matching amount will be equal to the fan’s payment, up to the $100 cap.


2.3 Prohibited Conduct

Any attempt to misuse, manipulate, or fraudulently engage with the Program, including but not limited to creating multiple accounts or circumventing payment limits, may result in disqualification from the Program and forfeiture of all Matching Funds.

3. Matching Funds

3.1 Processing of Matching Funds

  • Roy will match up to $100 per fan for qualifying payments towards eligible athletes.
  • Within 72 hours of making an eligible payment, Roy will:
    • Credit the Matching Funds to the Selected Athlete’s Roy Campaign.
    • Notify the fan via email confirming the match.

3.2 Viewing Matching Funds

  • Fans will not see the Matching Funds reflected in their My Roy account—only their own payments will be displayed.
  • Matching Funds will appear directly in the Selected Athlete’s Roy Campaign balance.

4. Payment of Matching Funds to Athletes

4.1 Payment Conditions
If the Selected Athlete is eligible to receive Roster Campaign payments, both:

  • The fan’s original payment, and
  • The Matching Funds

will be paid to the Selected Athlete in accordance with Roy’s Terms of Service and the Campaign Agreement between the athlete and Roy.

4.2 Forfeiture of Matching Funds
If the Selected Athlete is not eligible to receive payment due to:

  • Transferring schools,
  • Failing to fulfill required deliverables, or
  • Other disqualifying factors per the Campaign Agreement,

then:

  • The fan will receive a refund of their original payment, per Roy’s Refund Policy.
  • The Matching Funds will expire and will not be available for future use on the platform or elsewhere.

5. Limitation of Liability

Roy is not liable for any damages, losses, or legal disputes arising from participation in the Program, including but not limited to:

  • Ineligibility of an athlete to receive payments.
  • Disputes regarding Matching Funds allocation.
  • Termination or suspension of the Program.

By participating, you acknowledge and accept these limitations of liability.

6. Termination, Suspension, and Modifications

Roy reserves the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
  • Change eligibility criteria or matching limits at its sole discretion.

Any changes will be reflected in these Match Terms.

The Program is currently set to expire on March 31, 2025, unless terminated earlier.
